AIRPORTS

An aerial view of Logan Airport in Boston, Massachusetts, which may have been taken during the 1930's or 1940's. I think these photos make neat computer desktop wallpaper!

A Deperdussin monoplane at the Sloane Aeroplane Company aviation school in San Diego, California.

One of the many types of Farman Shorthorn pusher biplanes, in which the observer sat in the front and the pilot in the back. This type of aircraft was used, in combat, early in World War I, by the United Kingdom, France, and Belgium, before it was used as a trainer, and one of them was used to shoot down a zeppelin. It was also used as a bomber.
