BOEING MODEL 40



The Boeing 40, in Railway Express Agency service. The Model 40 first flew on July 7, 1925 and was designed as an air mail airplane, for the United States Post Office.

The 1929 Boeing Model 100 was the civilian version of the Boeing F4B-1 biplane that was used by the United States Navy and a version of it was also used by the United States Army Air Corps, under the designation P-12. Four of these biplanes were produced.
