TOY TRAINS IN ACTION

A vintage photo showing a woman with toy trains!

These photos show some O Scale trains in action on a 3' x 6' layout.

THE LAYOUT

The red and white locomotive is a GM&O GP20 that is made by Lionel. The Gulf Mobile & Ohio never had any EMD GP20's on its roster, though it used GP30's, GP35's, and GP38's. The tall building, on the right, is made by Ameritowne.

The silver Allied Chemical NATX tank car is made by Industrial Rail.

A view down the street of the town. The white Lehigh Valley boxcar, at the railroad crossing, is made by K-Line.

A roof-top view of the town's train station, which is a Plasticville building that is made by Bachmann.

Because the layout is not permanent, it can easily be changed!

The steel-side Schlitz Brewing Company reefer, at the freight station, is made by Williams.

Another redesign of the layout shows New York Central GP7, with roadnumber NYC7420, that was made by Lionel in 1994, going through a town.

he Frisco GP7 locomotive, which was made by Lionel in 2000. Some of the buildings in the background are from Heartland Valley.

The activity on the street. The early automobile is from Yatming and the beverage delivery truck is from Welly. The people are from Life Like and Model Power.

Looking down a street on the layout. The light blue Needham reefer was made by Lionel in 2003.

It's now 1960 on the layout!

A street scene on the layout, with MTH and Ameritowne buildings! The Bangor and Aroostock box car was made by Lionel in 2003 and the five-story building is the MTH Forbes Tower.
